Organisations with a Quality Management System certified to the latest edition of the standard (ISO 9001:2008) provide a higher level of guarantee that all the company functions reach their targets as wells as higher levels of internal and external customer care.

According to a law issued in the U.S.A. (called the Dodd- Frank Act), the American companies quoted on the stock exchange will be required, as of 2014, to show that all of the products involved in their businesses containing gold, tin, tungsten and tantalum come from areas not involved in conflict (“conflict free”), that is from various geographic areas from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries, or from mines that properly apply the country’s laws.
It is expected that this American law will pass down to all suppliers, even those from other countries, which have direct or indirect business in the US market.
In order to prepare ourselves for this legislation, our company has performed an advance analysis of its suppliers, collecting their certificates of origin for the goods purchased. We are now able to certify the origin of our ingots.
