Ingots for sand casting
PRODUCT APPLICATION
FOUNDRY BRASS 60 This product is used with success in the production of fixtures for plumbing and heating systems, as well as decorative castings.
BRASS 65-35 This product meets UNI 5034. It is used successfully for the production of fittings, small hardware parts, nuts and bolts and pump bodies for marine applications, as well as for plumbing and heating systems. This alloy is also suitable for structural castings for electrical applications.
SPECIAL BRASS 65-35 This alloy finds wide application internationally as it meets the following standards: UNI 5036, DIN1706-G-CuZn33Pb, BS 1400-SCB3, ASTM B 584-85400, and ISO 1338-G-CuZn33Pb2. It is used specifically in the production of ornamental castings and decorative friezes.
BRASS 60-40 NAVALBRASS Typical product for the production of shell and tube heat exchangers, it meets the following standards: UNI 6399, DIN1709-G-CuZn38Sn1, BS 1400-SCB4, and ASTM B 584-46400.

 

 

Ingots for shell moulding
Our range of shell moulding alloys covers any requirement for castings for handles and hardware, as well as decorative and ornamental castings:
PRODUCT APPLICATION
BRASS DELTA A Castings for handles and hardware, as well as decorative and ornamental castings.
BRASS DELTA C Handles, hinges, hardware, siphons, and plumbing accessories.
BRASS DELTA GREEN 1A Especially soft decorative/artistic castings. Alloy made from only copper, zinc and aluminium.
BRASS DELTA GREEN 2A Used for the same applications as allow Green 1A. The only difference is the presence of lead in the alloy, at max. 0.30%.

 

Special note must be given to the alloys used for plumbing applications:

PRODUCT APPLICATION
TONVAL This product has excellent casting characteristics for the production of taps and valves, for plumbing and heating systems as well as gas applications.
SAMO In addition to the excellent characteristics of the Tonval alloy, it can be used in shell moulding, even at low pressure. In addition to castings for valves and taps, its applications include the production of castings for pressure seals.

 

Ingots for die-casting
In addition to the alloys listed here, DELTA GREEN, mentioned previously, also shows good performance in die-casting. In our range of die-casting alloys, we highlight the application and features of:
PRODUCT APPLICATION
BRASS DELTA C DIE-CASTING This is a special formulation of the well-known Delta C alloy. It allows die-casting of a wide range of products that are normally shell moulded using standard Delta C.
BRASS DELTA C ORNATE This alloy is ideal for the production of interior decorative items, marine applications, chandeliers, pressure seal castings and construction anchoring elements.
SILICON BRASS This alloy is used for the production of mechanical parts such as small gears, burner parts, carburettor bodies, and decorative and ornamental elements for interior décor, including door handles.
SPECIAL SILICON BRASS 61/63/65 This alloy is suitable for ornamental castings in general.
BRASS DELTA B This alloy is used for a wide range of applications ranging from ornamental castings to castings for taps, valves, nozzles (especially for gas lines), nuts and bolts, hardware, handles, as well as small gears and pressure seal parts.

 

 

Ingots for continuous casting
The alloy listed below is specially produced for drawing mills producing semi-finished brass items.
PRODUCT APPLICATION
BRASS ALLOY BAR OT58 This alloy is used specifically for the production of brass bars, coils, plates, profiles, billets, hollow tubes, wire, and for all semi-finished brass materials that are later hot pressed.
